OK, this year I´m already more in Italy than anywhere else and so far it´s been such a great experience. I learned a lot of swearwords containing all kinds of genderparts, names of animals combinated with god´s name etc. But what I enjoyed most is the incredible colorful musicscene - starting in mainstream with Caparezza (CHECK THIS) but also some other incredible acts such as IpercusSonici from Catania (Video - on myspace) or Underdog from Roma (on myspace)!

Yes, it was great - Roma in springtime - warm and cosy ;-)
We recorded 12 songs at the Altipiani Studio and each of them has turned out very nice. Lot´s of additional stuff like accordeon, trumpets, basstuba, trombone and trombinos - and much more to come In two weeks!
Great thank you to Mr. Altipiani Paolo, „piccolo Paolo“ (don´t kill me ;-), Marco and of course our padrini Cinico!

Everyday there´s something new to me, it seems a long time too late for the real people: However, since I live in Germany, I don´t feel that kinda pressure to be up to date anymore...

This is a search engine - works as fast as google, earns around 0.13 € per search and spends about 80% of their income to a WWF project that buys / safes rainforest somewhere in South America. They already protected around 15m m2 - which is nearly as big as half of my private park, that I share with pans, magicians and elfins...
However - the engine works and helps the planet - at least - I want to believe...

OK - normally I´m not the CGI knowing kinda guy, but 3D Artists have alway an easy game to impress me. And this video is truly impressive!

It´s a movie completely done by Alex Roman and take those 12:29 to get into this! Really phantastic visualisation of my company, library and my private house in the forests.

Last weekend I drove with Dali Bor and Pippo Vari, who call themselfes Venti Lato, to London. They gonna stay there some time and I thought, it would be nice to make a small video about their jurney from Cologne to London. BTW it was the first time for me in England and besides classic British meals, I liked it! I don´t get it, how they could put vineglar on their fries (uk calls ´em chips) and fish (uk calls it fish) - I don´t get it! NO! NEVER!

However, everything else was pretty nice! I think that the people were nice too, although their way of talking confused me a bit. I had the feeling that everyone who speaks British English must be part of a Royal Family. Normal people don´t talk like that, but probably all British are noble by nature. Who knows...

However - I hope to get the clip finished soon and show it here!

Ampersand & Waines & Sphericube on Tour

Yep - it´s been very nice! Nearly 5.000km on the road - 6 countries in 8 days! I love that kinda statistics. Starting in Hattingen, Mr. Strikers hometown (the guy, who organized the whole thing together with Roberto and David) and then to Burgkundstadt. OK Burgkundstadt is a rather small place, but turned out to be one of our favourite places to play! It´s the second time we play with Ampersand there and it´s been crazy and wet again!

The next day we entered new territory - Tabor in Czech Republic! The whole thing was kinda strange, but nice. On the right you see that hotelroom, which was probably the most depressing one, we´ve ever spend a night in.

The next day we went home to my mom´s place in Austria and I guess the biggest food feast of all time begun and endet 2 days later in Budapest! My voice was already lost somewhere but I enjoyed Hungary and especially Budapest a lot!

The next two days we spent in Slovenia - Ljubilana and Murska Sobota! At both shows my good friend Melée joined us for some songs. Melée also sung „Chasseur de Tete“ on the actual Ampersand album and so it felt totally great to have her in the band! David from Sphericube organized our Slovenian shows - and both were great!

Finally we arrived in Italy and right after the border it was summer again - warm air, autogrill and anarchy on the road! Bella Italia - I have no words that could in any way describe the love I feel for this country!!! COX18 at Milano was the first show and in Vicenza we ended our little tour with our friends from The Waines and Sphericube. It felt really hard to come back this time and probably the next time, I´ll stay...

Ampersand featuring Melée Special Shows

Ho Ho Ho! That´s really so cool - Melée, singer of Psycho-Path and long time collaborateur and friend, will again play some songs with us on stage! All this can (and should) be seen / heard in Ljubiljana (SLO) on the 22. Oct. and in Murska Sobota (SLO) on the 23. Oct.!
